A Spring morning in the Art of Being Training group

It’s one of those sublime Spring mornings in the countryside of Switzerland. I’m at my favourite seminar-house in the world, Waldhaus Zentrum in the lovely Emmenthal, among wild-flower meadows surrounded by green hills and happy cows. We’re into the fifth day of the new Art of Being Training. Outside, just as the old Sufi poet Rumi said, “All of nature swings in delight, singing without end.... what a blessing!” Bird-song and funky farm fragrances waft through the open windows. In here I can write these few sentences while the participants sit in small groups preparing to go into a deep journey called “Life-story”. The first round of the adventure took place yesterday evening. Is it the full moon, or the potency of the process, or this overwhelming Springtime energy of nature, or the fact that we have been moving deeper and deeper for five days now into the mysteries that we all contain and so often disregard? I guess all of these are contributing to the extraordinary richness of awareness, presence, passion, feelings and sensitivity that everyone seems to be buzzing with this morning. Yes, it is really a blessing to BE HERE!
